About Me

I began my obsession with great sounding audio when I first started to produce my own electronic music at home at age 14. I was always looking for that full-spectrum sound that forces a listener in awe at how anything could sound that crisp. This new-found love sent me down a career path that is centered around audio.

My first destination was obtaining my associate’s degree in audio technology. This gave me ample experience working in a professional studio setting with analog and digital outboard gear, standard studio recording practices, and working other audio professionals to become an audio engineer. Here I spent countless hours in the studio, recording musicians and working to make them sound as great as they could.

After my associate’s degree, I enrolled in an electrical engineering degree program. There I learned the principles of electrical engineering up to graduate level courses in analog electronics and digital signal processing. I also completed a summer research program with the physics department investigating acoustics. More specifically, I completed sound transmission loss experiments with acoustic metamaterials (AMM). I used the knowledge and skills from my digital signal processing graduate coursework to complete spectral analysis on these sound insulating materials.

After obtaining my bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering, I worked in tech in downtown Austin, where I am still located. I am currently doing mixing and mastering services full-time.
